Before our trip and the holiday crush, wanted to jot down some memories from the last few weeks…

Janou was in town a few weekends ago and Max graciously hosted everyone for dinner.  His house is incredible–with a yoga room!–and it was so cozy to sit at the kitchen table and laugh.  Caleb toasted, “to dinner parties!” and we enjoyed hearty garlic bread and spaghetti squash.

Last week, I was in DC for a few days for work.  Katie and I had dinner at Fireworks, and it was very comforting to catch up over chardonnay and salads.

After dinner, I checked out the Georgetown Rent the Runway.  How is there not a brick and morter store in SF? Maybe someday?

It was a pretty packed trip, but managed a few morning walks around the Mall to take in the last of the fall leaves.

Our communications and development team planned a gorgeous event to honor an incredibly inspiring national advocate. The room was warm with laughter and it was positively energizing to be surrounded by friends and advocates.

And very special to have some siter time! Also, this Old Bay advertisement at BWI made me smile:

It’s been a special few weeks for new babies.  Meg texted Wednesday morning that baby Avery joined the world.  So thrilling!!! Sunday, David and I watched footbal in Pacifica with Kirstin, Brian and sweet baby Georgia.

It rained Sunday night–what a relief–and on Monday the air was crystal clear.

I was in Sacramento earlier this week, and the changing leaves on the blue water was gorgeous.

This weekend is nice and quiet.  David and I hiked in Tilden and enjoyed a cozy, early Thanksgiving dinner.

Tonight we’re watching Master of None and we might check out Point Reyes tomorrow.  Happy weekend :)
